KONY 2012

Some of you may have heard of the KONY 2012 project. Invisible Children is promoting this to stop the worst criminal in the world. He has captured children in Africa for years forcing them to be in his army, rapped women, and is the cause for thousands of deaths.
If you haven't, go check out the videos and articles at Invisible Children's website, here. Then look in to Cover the Night opportunities around you.
Unfortunately, there are the people out there who oppose KONY 2012. But having haters means that you are doing something. The word is getting out there, which is the whole point of this project.
People say they want to change the world, but then oppose organizations and the people that are trying to do just that. Most people just want to change their world. People are out there using their voices and any means possible to bring awareness to a cause and to empower and enable others to make a difference for themselves and then move on to a larger picture. Once people get the chance to help themselves they will be better equipped to help others.
Changing the world can mean so many different things. It’s not about money or how big the change is. Once the change becomes big, that is when other smaller changes can occur.
The smallest voice can make an impact and people are trying to stifle those voices. Why use so much energy to oppose something that you are saying people are working too hard to promote? If supporters are trying too hard, why are the ones opposed trying just as hard to stop it? If you don’t care, don’t say anything. Debating about it will not help it or stop it. There’s something bigger to think about. Something that will start with Kony 2012. So many things go by unnoticed every day. This is a chance to start looking for them. Look for them in a world that is not yours. A world completely foreign.

Don’t just change your world. Change another world.
